INGREDIENTS

 

  • 200 g tapioca starch
  • 500 ml water 
  • ham
  • chees 
  • anything of your choice (Tapioca & Nutella is sooo yummy)

GO AND MAKE IT!!

  • Pour the Tapioca flour into a baking tray
  • Add the water and make sure to cover all the flour. Now the startch starts to create bubbles.
  • Let it soak for 20m min. The best thing is to prepare it over night, so it's ready in the morning. You end up with a gummy mess, which feels like cement. Dry the gummy mess with a clean kitchen towel.
  • Break it into larger pieces and work with your hands to obtain a sandy texture.
  • Now pass the misture through a strainer. Your tapioca gum is ready to use.
  • When you want to use it, heat a non sticky pan and put just a little bit of the Tapioca mixture in the oan to see if the pan is hot enough (you will see the tapioca kind of jumping out of the pan). Than lower the heat and scoop about 4 Tablespoons out of the mixture. Put the mixture in the pan and wait until it sticks together, this takes about 2 min. Flip it and cook it one more minute, fill it with anything you can think of.
